Creating a Student Plan
Overview: Working with a group of 2 other masters students, I helped perform user research and concept validation to help students choose a 4-year course of study at Carnegie Mellon University.
Problem: For a student, planning out his or her next four years at Carnegie Mellon can be a daunting challenge. CMU has no system to aid students in this task, and it makes the job of advising students more difficult
Solution: Our objective is to help Computing Services and IBM design a tool that will allow students at CMU to plan their undergraduate career. We conducted user research with students and undergraduate advisors, generated design concepts, and validated those concepts with students and advisors.
